New Meter Locking Procedures and Fee Changes

Currently, payment is due by 6pm on the 15th of each month. If payment is not received, a $20.00 late fee is applied and a final notice is mailed the next day. The notice gives the member another 10-14 days to pay (the last day of the month), to avoid disconnection and a $75.00 disconnection fee.
Also, we currently do not lock meters until the first Saturday of the month, so in some cases a full additional week is given before the lock is placed.
EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 31, 2019
If payment is not received by the final due date (the last day of the month), a locking fee of $40.00 will be charged, even if we have not physically put a lock it.
An additional $35.00 un-lock fee will apply, once the lock has been placed. (First Saturday of the month). The total cost remains at $75.00.
If the past due balance is paid after the last day of the month but prior to being locked, you will avoid the unlock fee.
All past due meters will be locked on disconnection day. To have service restored that same day, all past due and late fee's must be paid in full by 3PM, credit or debit only. No Cash, money orders or checks on disconnection day.
Payment can not be accepted by your reader or put in the drop box on disconnection day, you will not be credited or unlocked until the next BUSINESS day.
